What is the oscillated wound strip?

The oscillated wound strip, also known as oscillated reels, bibbon wound or continuous strip, is the result of joining in the same coil or reel several high-strength steel strips by means of a welding process, forming a single reel or coil of great length.

At VINCO we are experts in longitudinal slitting of strips, adapting our production to the needs of each client.. We have spooling lines to supply strips in coils of up to 2,000 kg.

Benefits of the oscillated wound strip:

Reduced waste: The entire spooled strip is used, minimising waste and optimising your investment.

Maximum efficiency: By using longer reels, the frequency of reel changes on our customers' machines is significantly reduced. This results in less machine downtime and a considerable increase in productivity.

Highest reliability: The oscillated wound strip is characterised by its high uniformity in terms of dimensional tolerances, strength and tension. This guarantees a precise and reliable machine process, minimising the risk of faults and resetting.

Optimised transport and storage: We offer oscillated wound strip in a wide range of weights (coils up to 2000 kg) and dimensions, adapting to the specific needs of each customer. This optimises storage space and facilitates the transport of coils.

Relación coste-eficacia: The use of oscillated wound strip reduces labour and energy costs and optimises material consumption.
