The WIROLL project has received funding from the Hazitek program

The WIROLL project aims to develop new flat-rolled wire products by researching the rolling process and designing advanced software for calculating rolling passes.
Led by VINCO, in collaboration with Mondragon University, it seeks to optimise the rolling process, improve product quality and expand the company’s portfolio with applications in sectors such as the automotive industry and household appliances.
Through numerical simulation, process monitoring and the development of analytical models, more efficient production has been achieved, reducing waste and improving the precision of rolling parameters. Furthermore, the software developed allows for greater control of the process, reducing times and costs, and positioning VINCO in the market with an innovative solution of high technological value.
The project is supported by the Hazitek program.
