Strands: 1×19

Definition 1X19:

  • A strand consisting of 19 high-tensile-strength steel wires.
  • Stable performance in tension members and bracing. Low elasticity and elongation. Greater flexibility than the 1×7 construction.
  • Galvanised, suitable for outdoor use.
  • Suitable for guying, bracing and structural support applications.
  • Specific applications in photovoltaics (grounding lines), agriculture and livestock, land transport (gantries, supports), fishing (net posts)
  • Not suitable for lifting work, pulleys or small bending radii (rigidity).
  • Plastic coating available
  • Complies with standard EN 12385-4
