Sag tolerances according to EN 10051 for pickled hot-rolled strips will be agreed when placing the order.

RIPPLE – LONGITUDINAL FLATNESS

The flatness tolerance of the strips in cut lengths in the direction of rolling must be a maximum of 10 mm on 1000 mm. Any other flatness requirement must be agreed when placing the order.
  • The products covered by Standard EN 10111:1998 are suitable for surface coating.
  • The type of coating must be indicated when placing the order.

HOT ROLLED NARROW STRIP: LOW CARBON STEEL

CHEMICAL COMPOSITION OF PICKLED STRIP

Since 1948 we have been working in the supply of strapping and we have been expanding the services we offer to meet the needs of our customers. We currently have three cutting and storage centers in Vizcaya, La Rioja and Barcelona to guarantee flexibility in the delivery of goods. Our customer orientation pushes us to continue working day by day to achieve excellence in our products.

VINCO offers you a wide variety of chemical compositions for hot rolled strip, made of high strength and low carbon structural steel:

  • DD11 – DD14 steel strip: this type of material has good weldability characteristics and high corrosion resistance in some cases, such as DD14 steel. All these types of strapping are governed under the EN 10111 Standard that applies to continuous hot rolled strip of low carbon steel for cold forming.
  • Steel strip S235JR: this is a non-alloy structural steel widely used in the construction industry. This strip is subject to Standard EN 10025, which refers to the technical conditions of supply of hot-rolled products made of non-alloy steel and intended for general-purpose metallic constructions.
  • S355JO steel strip: this variety of strip is composed of manganese steel with low tensile strength and high impact resistance. Like S235JR steel strip, it conforms to EN 10025 to ensure optimum technical delivery conditions.

FINISHES AND TOLERANCES FOR HOT ROLLED STRIPS

Finishes for hot rolled or pickled strip are subject to the EN 10111 standard that applies to this type of hot rolled products. In addition to the coatings that are already included in the Standard, VINCO provides a wide selection so that you can choose the one that best suits your needs: brass plating, copper plating, nickel plating, gold plating, electro-zinc plating, silver plating, pre-painted or lacquered and tin plating.

The tolerances section of the data sheet includes all measurements and dimensions in millimeters for thickness tolerances according to EN 10051; width tolerances for sheared edge strips; deflection tolerances under commercial agreement and flatness tolerances for strip strips.
